Petrol and Mustard

We love the colour combinations of this Swedish home, the petrol blue walls and mustard sofa is a perfect Autumnal combo!

The curved walls of the living room adds a stately feel to the space but we can imagine it makes it quite tricky to decorate. What's your favourite part of this home?

Grandeur

This grand Swedish home is really something special! The windows, the decorative ceiling, the ornate fireplaces - simply put just stunning. We are big fans of the green shade on the walls by Farrow and Ball which looks beautiful in both day and evening light.

We've spotted a lot of gorgeous Svenskt Tenn furniture in this apartment - one of our favourite Swedish heritage brands - which works so well with this grand space.

Cosy and light

A trend we've seen emerging in Sweden recently is beautifully painted woodworks – such as doors, skirting and window frames. This works particularly well in older homes as they have plenty of period features such as wooden clad wall panels. To achieve this look it's important to pick a pale muted tone that works well with your furniture and decor. Unlike the Brits the Scandinavians don't really use their curtains much and this style means you can skip curtains all together. Venetian blind has been fitted in the bedroom windows which is a good way of getting some privacy without taking anything away from the window detailing.

Characterful living

We are so into the home of Elin Alemdar, founder of Stylein. With consistent earthy tones complimented by a variety of luscious greenery, the space is airy but characterful too. A fine example of a stylish living space put together with integrity.

Pretty Pastels

This lovely pastel dream in Stockholm has a colour palette that creates calm and tranquil home environment. This apartment has been seen across plenty of Swedish interior blogs over the past couple weeks and we spotted it at one of our favourite blogs Trendeser.se.

The dusty pink sofa, off-white walls teamed with the dove blue and pale marble grey kitchen makes for a perfect combo.

Perfection

This stunning flat has been styled by the people behind Dusty Deco, an amazing interior shop in Stockholm. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into the design and colour scheme of this space. We love the muted greys and dusty pinks as well as the use of natural materials such as linen and wood.
